DAY 01 - Arrive Negombo
On arrival in Sri Lanka you will be met at the international airport and transfer to the Negombo. Overnight in near byNegombo (Hotel)
Day 02 - Go to Kalpitiya
Kalpitiya is new place for the coral watching and dolphin watching in Sri Lanka. Despite its natural beauty, the western peninsular area of KALPITIYA in the Puttalam district of Sri Lanka is remarkably untouched by tourism. But for those lucky enough to visit, there's a plethora of things to see and do! With the small close-knit fishing community dominating the lives of the local people, visitors can get a real insight into working life away from the city. After watching the night fishing boats return in the morning, a visit to one of the fish markets offers the opportunity to choose the evening meal direct from the fresh catch! The Dutch Fort and St Peter's Kerk church in the town itself are interesting examples of Sri Lanka's rich history and colonial past.

Day 03 - Visit Anuradhapura ancient city Go to Habarana
A.M visit Anuradhapura & visit the ruins of the first capital founded in the 05th century B.C here is found the largest number of ancient monuments of a great civilization. '' Sri Mahabodhi '' the oldest historically documented tree in the world is over 2200 years.
There are monuments such as Ruwanveliseyadageba, 2nd century B.C with its famous elephant wall; Thuparamadageba 3rd century B.C; The pillars of the brazen palace which once had nine stories; the image of the Samadhi Buddha, one of the finest places of Buddhist sculpture; the twin ponds; guard stones & moonstones.

Day 04 Visit to Sigiriya rock and go to Trincomalee

A.M. climb the rock of Sigiriya built by the patricide King Kasshyapa in the 5th century A.D. Today it's a treasure trove of rare art. In a pocket of the giant rock are the famous frescoes of the '' heavenly maidens of Sigiriya'' and Return to hotel for overnight Nillavalii.
Day 05 - Relax and visit Pigeon Island by the boat
Trincomalee is a port city on the east coast of Sri Lanka, about 110 miles northeast of Kandy. The city is built on a peninsula, which divides the inner and outer harbours. It is one of the main centres of Tamil speaking culture on the island. Historically referred to asGokanna,or Gokarna it has been a sea port that has played a major role in maritime and international trading history of Sri Lanka.
The Bay of Trincomalee's harbour is renowned for its large size and security; unlike every other in the Indian Sea, it is accessible to all types of craft in all weathers. The beaches are used for surfing, scuba diving, fishing and whale watching. The city also has the largest Dutch fort in Sri Lanka. Day 06 - Visit Polonnaruwa ancient city and go to Habarana
After breakfast leave for Polonnaruwa& visit the 2nd capital of Sinhala kings dating back to the 11th & 12th century A.D. The entire landscape of the region is punctuated by huge man-made reservoirs, the most famous of which is the ''ParakramaSamudra''. Numerous monuments are found in this city & ''Gal Vihara '' complex is one of the best among them with the fine sculpture of the recumbent, standing and seated Buddha's.

Day 07 - Go to Kandy
After Breakfast this morning you will leave the capital for Kandy. The centre of the traditional arts in Sri Lanka Visit the city of Kandy. The most famous landmark of Kandy is its Lake, in the centre of the city. Udawatte-kele is a nature reserve surrounded by city. The Kandy market is a great bazaar full of the sounds of exiting trade. Visit the temple of the sacred tooth relic of Buddha. Late in the evening view the Kandyan cultural performance.

Day 08 - Visit Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage and go to Colombo
En-route visits the Elephant orphanage at Pinnawela. This orphanage was established to feed nurse & house young elephants found abandoned by their mothers. Often the young ones fall into pits and ravines in their quest for water during drought.

Day 09 - Visit the Colombo city and Air port
Colombo is the largest city and commercial capital of Sri Lanka. It is located on the west coast of the island and adjacent to Sri Jayewardenepura Kotte, the capital city of Sri Lanka. Colombo is a busy and vibrant city with a mixture of modern life and colonial buildings and ruins and a city population of 647,100. The Colombo Metropolitan Region, defined by the districts of Colombo, Gampaha and Kalutara, has an estimated population of 5,648,000, and covers an area of 3,694.20 kmē.
The name "Colombo", first introduced by the Portuguese in 1505, is believed to be derived from the classical Sinhalese name Kolonthota, meaning "port on the river Kelani". It has also been suggested that the name may be derived from the Sinhalese name Kola-amba-thotawhich means "Harbour with leafy mango trees".
Due to its large harbour and its strategic position along the East-West sea trade routes, Colombo was known to ancient traders 2,000 years ago. However it was only made the capital of the island when Sri Lanka was ceded to the British Empire in 1815, and its status as capital was retained when the nation became independent in 1948. In 1978, when administrative functions were moved to Sri Jayewardenepura Kotte, Colombo was designated as the commercial capital of Sri Lanka.
Like many cities, Colombo's urban area extends well beyond the boundaries of a single local authority, encompassing other Municipal and Urban Councils. The main city is home to a majority of the Sri Lanka's corporate offices, restaurants and entertainment venues. Famous landmarks in Colombo include the Galle Face Green, the Viharamahadevi Park as well as the National Museum.
